Now a days, the media is telling us how and what to think and how to live. They remember their freedom of press while they trample on our freedom of speech. Anyone who dares to say anything against the government's actions or tries to point out its wrongdoings are labelled as unpatriotic and anti-american. Our government is a democracy which means it is a government by the people. Being a democracy, that means two things. First that our society includes people with varying viewpoints and those people have the freedom in a democracy to express their viewpoints. Second, that the wrongful actions undertaken by our government are the responsibility of the people. We are responsible for all atrocities our government has commited.
In the 60s, people fought against the government's illegal actions, and we saw major changes. Most of the world looks up to us, so we have to take control back of our country and our freedom of speech. It is time for librals and conservatives to join together and take the power back. Do not let government and corporate media "divide and conquer". Look at the world history of "divide and conquer"
